This notice is to inform Visual Impression users of a potential conflict with the Webroot Antivirus software.
The Webroot Security Software has recently been blocking a file essential to the operation of the Visual Impressions program. This will cause Visual Impression not to open on your system.
The File being blocked is VirtualStudio-3DEngine-Wrapper.dll. This file is safe and is incorrectly being removed by the Webroot software.
If you use the Webroot Security Software and your Visual Impression does not open on your system you will need to release the VirtualStudio-3DEngine-Wrapper.dll from the programs quarantine.
- Open the Webroot SecureyAnywhere console
- Click the gear symbol to the right of PC Security
- Select the Quarantine Tab
- Select virtualstudio-3dengine-wrapper.dll and then click the Restore button
This should restore the file and your Visual Impression software should start working again.
In some cases the Webroot software may be managed by your system administrator in which case you may need to contact your help desk to perform this function for you.
