      The quickest and easiest way to get your work area boxes back to their original positions is to reset the 2020 design registries.  You can reset the registries in version 10 and 11 by going to the maintenance tools for the version and selecting 2020 Design Registry Reset.  When you reset the registries it sets the program back to its default settings.  If you have made any changes to things like the order your catalogs get displayed in or if you save your files to a shared drive you will need to put those things back after the reset.

      You can also re activate the windows from within the 2020 design program. If you select the view tab, you can click on or off the Drag and Drop, Information and Placement boxes. Simply click on the icon to enable or disable to box. You can also change their order or how they dock by holding down your left click button on the name of the box (for example Information) and moving your mouse around.
