ParticipantLike the title explains we have a mapped drive named K:\ for kitchens that stores all of the design files when we upgraded to 10 it won’t see the mapped drives. On top of that if we browse to the server via IP or server name it will go to the files but will not open. It will pop up and error saying file will not open. If we copy the file to the desktop it will open. Any suggestions would help

Neil WilsonParticipantHey Brett,
Give the 1-866-697-2020 support line a call. They have a registry fix that will allow 2020 to see mapped drives. Once 2020 recognises the mapped drive you will be able to open the files.

ParticipantThank you, I called shortly after I posted and they helped me pretty quickly. But is there a link 2020 has with all of the fixes you can download?

ParticipantI was able to fix this with a simple registry entry on Windows 10 Pro
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
“EnableLinkedConnections”=dword:00000001
Not all my design station PC’s had the issue but it fixed all PC’s that did .
