There is currently no manual for 2020 Design as we no longer produce manuals for 2020 Design. You can however, now find similar information available to you in our widespread help files (within 2020 Design) using the search feature. You can also find much information in our Knowledge Center where we have a database of beneficial articles you can sift through. Here is the link to the Knowledge Center:

Attributes like texture and hardware come out of the catalogs.
For the request for updated items in the catalogs, there is currently a pretty good wish list thread going ( I think you are already in it :)) and that would be a great place to bring that up because I know it has the attention of the Devs.
