Second Idea today: Allow trim to conform to vertical “running line” in an elevation.
If you cant guess, I’m working on some baths this week. Victorian style baths, so there is field tile, bull nose, mini-pencil, etc.
I’ve found that placing a generic chair-rail from the underground catalog, is an easy way to make a quick deco band or trim out a tile field, but since it cant run vertically, it’s of limited usefulness. My current work around is to use this method to place the horizontals, then fit in verticals using 3d shape. It’s time consuming, and imperfect. 3d running line could greatly simplify this.
