Morning All!
Thanks to help from this wonderful forum, I know I can turn off the “bright fog” in windows off by dialing the Natural(Realistic) light in Renders down to zero – but the downside of that is you cannot have visible Sun. I love visible Sun for really giving a room life!
There is also, for some reason, the same “bright fog” in open interior doorways and wall pass thru’s. Now, I LIKE the bright foggy look in windows, as that’s more realistic to what photos of kitchens look like in magazines; the view out the window is always whited-out/overexposed. But my wish would be 1) to be able to toggle it on and off, because it’s not everyone’s thing, and 2) not having it in interior doors/open doorways/wall pass thru’s.
The annoying thing too is the beams of sunlight coming through the room when the sun is
“on” HIT that “bright fog” in the doorway – so my open doorway to the living room looks like it has sandblasted glass. The beams of light hit the opening like it was a surface (see attached image)
Cheers!
Ariana
