Hi Ariana,
Regarding the lighting emitting from the doorways, this was an issue in the version 12. I have tested the doors in both of the latest versions of 12 and 13 and it seems to have been corrected in version 13.4
Below I have attached renderings taken in version 12 and 13 to show you the difference in lighting.
