I think it’s great we have wall niches now for the showers… however, there’s an issue where the niche shows through the back side of the wall. In my design the back side of my shower wall is the tub wall, so it looks like I have a weird box on the wall on the tub side. Is there any way to make it so the box only shows up on one side and not both? Changing the depth does not seem to help… for example, my wall is 4.5″ thick…. By default, the niche is the wall depth. If I drop the niche on the wall and change the depth from 4-1/2″ to 4″ on the back side of the wall there is a 1/2″ indentation on the back side of the wall.
I know I can create use the rectangle tool/create a shape and make it the size of my wall to cover the box shape, but that’s what I had to do before when we were just using pass-through wall cutouts. It’s not really saving any time if I have to do the same steps no matter what.
