Couple of things I would love to see.
A render mode devoid of the shadowing/ light casting/ etc. Just a plain Jane true color image with the option to “turn on” realistic lighting. I feel like this would solve a great deal of the lighting issues many users have articulated.
Short of this it seem to me from some experimentation that user lighting does not function in texture based elevations, making it impossible to get a true color image without shadows to provide to builders and marketers that request them. I have a builder who can’t understand why my drawing can’t just show the white cabinets to be white and not have them look grey or have shadow lines from the pulls, knobs, counter overhangs, etc.
Ability to modify variables in catalogs other than the generic one. If my design calls for a 26″ deep Fridge end panel, and the company has 24 and 30″ deep options, I need to be able to place a 30″ deep panel and size it down to 26″ to generate accurate order lists and pricing. Depths and heights of panels should be modifiable.
Appliance issues. The Bosch and Thermador Cloud catalogs have the heights of dishwashers set at like 35″ for some awful reason. If you set it down to 34.5″ to allow a countertop to clear over it, the countertop wizard has a brain fart and doesn’t correctly give placement to appliance edges and finished edges. The spec on the unit is 33 7/8″ tall so I have no idea why its what it is in the catalog. It should be adjustable.
