The REPLACE function in Design is certainly handy to be able to swap out one cabinet for a completely different cabinet. However it can also be dangerous as the Add-ons from the ‘old’ cabinet carry over to the new cabinet regardless of the add-on relation. For example, If you have a 3DB18 and add a cutlery tray, then use the Replace function to switch the cabinet into BFD15 the cutlery tray stays even though there is no drawer.
We recently had an issue where a cabinet with an implicit add-on was ‘replaced’ with another cabinet with the same implicit add-on. The end result was 2 Lazy Susans ordered for one cabinet (and we couldn’t deleted it).
I would love to see it where if there was an add-on present, the Replace function would pop-up a window allowing the user to confirm and cancel any add-ons.
