      Hi Carlos,

The decorative catalog is available through the 2020 Cloud. In 2020 Cloud select browse at the top and then select 2020 under Manufacturer and then 2020 Decorative Items US under Catalogs. Since the catalogs are updated “on the fly” in the cloud any new entries to the catalog should already be included.

Will the standard decorative catalog be updated as well? Or just on the cloud?

      Hi Jordyn

As 2020 Cloud is available to all 2020 Design customers in the US and Canada, and due to the speed and efficiency in which we can deliver catalog updates via 2020 Cloud, these additions will not be available in the file-based decorative catalog.

      Thanks

That’s disappointing. I am still using 11.2 so I don’t have the Cloud anymore. I don’t want to upgrade until all of the kinks have been worked out that I see everyone mentioning.

      Hi Jordyn,

Unfortunately we can’t retrofit the cloud into the older versions of the software.  You will need to update the software to at least version 11.3 to have access to the cloud.

That said, what kinks are holding you back?  If you let us know then we can prioritise them in future releases so we can get a release out that you will be happy to update to.

      Thank you

      Neil,

I didn’t mean to give the impression that I wanted you guys to update the older version with the Cloud. I was hoping that you would eventually update the file based catalogs, not just the Cloud. I have not downloaded 11.3 or 11.4 due to the comments I’ve seen others make, but it looks like the 11.3 announcement topic has been deleted, and that’s where I saw the issues that made me hold off.

If I upgrade to 11.4, will I be able to go back to 11.2 should I find I’m not happy with it? If I do, I will take notes on what I’ve found and get back to you with it.

      Thanks!!

      Hey Jordyn,

Unfortunately if you update to 11.4 it will over write 11.2 and the only way to go back will be to completely remove 2020 Design and then reinstall 11.2.  If you need the link to download 11.2 to get it back after installing 11.4 we can provide it for you.

The 11.3 post’s disappearance was my fault and I apologise to everybody.  I was posting the announcement for 11.4 and saw the 11.3 post and in my head I said “Well, I guess we don’t need the 11.3 announcement any more since I’m announcing a newer version” and deleted it.

IMHO 11.4 is more buggy than 11.2 so I would not upgrade.

In 11.4 I am unable to render to panoramic 360 nor am I able to pick the default colours for Walls, Ceiling, Floors etc in preferences or use colour/texture/pattern selection otherwise.

2020 support have yet to supply fixes for these issues (or even answer any emails/posts on the panoramic 360 issue).

Some of the bugs appear to be hardware based so you may not get them.
