Interior Designers are expected to know basic design-related things: color trends, function and use of furnishings, ADA rules, pricing, etc.. But, add to that list the following: how workspace effects health, mental engagement in a workplace, how surroundings effect blood pressure. Interior Designers are expected to know more and do more than ever before. Interior Designer/Anthropologist might be a more appropriate title in a few years.
