“I love to watch client’s faces light up as they picture themselves living in their new spaces with the help of 2020 Design’s 3D renderings.”—Kailee Helget
Kailee started using 2020 Design kitchen and bath design software in the field in October of 2015.
“Coming in with no experience in any previous programs, I was not biased towards any program in particular. I had heard 2020 Design was the leader in the industry, but I wanted to find out and make the comparison for myself. I compared 2020 Design to a competing product and to me, the answer was very clear—2020 Design took care of all my wants and needs that I was looking for in a design program. Besides the brief training I had in school, I pretty much taught myself how to use and operate the program with the help of training videos—which is a great example of just how user friendly the program is.”
“Get it. It will be worth it, I promise. 3D drawings help the design process move along quicker because customers will be able to see what the space will look like right away. It not only helps customers, it helps designers and installers as well. Also, you, as a designer, may be imagining this great idea, and then you look at it in a 3D rendering and realize it may not be a great as you had originally thought. 3D CAD tools will save you time and money and make the design process a whole lot more fun. If it is the learning process you are worried about, don’t worry—there are tons and tons of tools and tutorials out there online offered by 2020 and other 2020 Design users. You won’t regret it!”
Kailee Helget from R. Henry Construction won the 2020 Inspiration Awards for Kitchen & Bathroom Designers in the Traditional Category in 2016 and was awarded the NKBA 2015 Outstanding Student Award sponsored by Sub-Zero and Wolf. She is currently working towards her AKBD.
